Dr. William Wood
Dr. William Wood was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to an Air Force family that moved frequently. They finally settled down in Garrison, Texas where he attended K-12. He attended Rice University on a football scholarship and was a 4-year letterman as a defensive tackle. He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Wood chose to study chiropractic as a means to help patients without the use of drugs or surgery. He attended Parker University in Dallas, Texas where he graduated summa cum laude as the salutatorian of his class. He has studied seven different chiropractic techniques as well as the full array of non-invasive physiotherapy modalities in order to serve all types of patients in different age groups and of varying degrees of health.
In his free time, Dr. Wood enjoys playing rugby with the Dallas Athletic Rugby Club, wood-working, and spending time with family and his adopted greyhound, Lizzy.
